Today around Siena

Tony Sasa, a familiar figure here on mondosapore, is going to pick us wine-crazy Americans up and take us all to Le Fonti for lunch and (naturally) a tasting.  There we plan to buy wine and oil (they make great olive oil too).  Can't wait.

Susanna Crociani is a little put out with me for not letting her know I was going to be around here, but it was all sort of sudden -- mi dispiace, Susanna!  La prossima volta, OK?

Oh, and by the way: if you come to Siena, do not under any circumstances bother with San Gemignano.  A tourist trap of tourist traps.  Mont-St.-Michel without the tides.
