Just seen on the street

On Lex just south of 57th -- Curtis Sliwa and a tiny grey man named...Mike Bloomberg? I was walking fast and don't gawk at famous people on the street (like some idiot tourist) but they were surrounded by a retinue of plainclothes guards dressed to look like civilians from Staten Island, which they are anyway, and a host of aides and flunkies.

Watch! There'll be a news story soon detailing new recruitment and protection programs by the Guardian Angels to forestall the rise in the crime rate, which many experts are predicting with the shitty economic conditiions and the looming Bush Depression.
